With a young family and busy working lives, our clients in Newport ceased the opportunity for tenants to help repay their mortgage on their main residence by building a granny flat in the back garden. As with all our granny flat, theirs was a unique design to compliment the main house and provide privacy for themselves and the tenants. Once completed, our clients successfully rented out the granny flat and having created an on-going income, saw a substantial gain in value of the overall property. Granny flat for daughter, husband and new baby
Our client came to us with a beautiful, architecturally designed granny flat to be built on her Fathers’ property. Time was of the essence as the granny flat was for her and her husband to live in and they were expecting their first child. They had engaged a Certifier and builder and were just about to start the build when the builder pulled out. Without success, the client had tried to secure another builder and then a friend told them about Multidwell. The client had not originally thought about coming to Multidwell as she thought we only built to our own designs, however, we can build to pretty much any design! We were able to work with the client, to deliver the architecturally designed granny flat, to her tight timeframes and to her budget. The client was delighted with the outcome.
